1. Registration for Mandarin Chinese small-group course

 

Step 1: You fill out the registration form and send it back to us either by email or by post

Step 2: You will receive an electronic invoice from us.

Step 4: Your registration is confirmed by us via email or letter.

 

2. Payment

  • By BACS/CHAPS transfer
  • By POST/CHEQUE

  

3. Reserving a Chinese course

 

We can only reserve you a place on a Chinese course if we have determined your course level by means of a placement test (except totally beginners). Please pay the course fees on/before the 7th day prior to the planned starting date of the Chinese course, as otherwise your reservation will be automatically cancelled.

 

4. Cancellation

 

Cancellation of your Chinese course is only possible up to the 7th day after the planned starting date of the Chinese course, must be done in writing, and will involve the deduction of any administration and bank fees incurred as well what is recognized as a reasonable processing fee of £ 30.00

 

5. Rebooking of your Chinese course

 

You can rebook your Chinese course up to 14 days before it starts (for another date/term). A processing fee of £ 30.00 applies to rebooking. After that, no further rebooking is possible.

 

6. Follow-up course

 

If you are already taking part in a Chinese course and would like to attend a follow-up course, please register as described above. There is no automatic reservation of places.

 

7. Liability

 

Chinese small group course participants are liable for all damage they may cause and are obliged to pay compensation in accordance with applicable legal provisions. The organizers accept no liability for any possible damage, in particular injuries arising from excursions undertaken. Course participants are not insured against either accident or illness from our side. Parents or guardians are liable on behalf of minors. Excursions are taken at the participant's own risk. We recommend that you take out illness and accident insurance.

 

8. Exclusion by the Chinese Original Ltd

 

Should a course participant behave in a fashion grossly contrary to this contract or disrupt Chinese classes, he or she can be excluded without compensation from the Chinese course program. Course fees will not be refunded.

 

 

9. Shortening of Chinese courses

 

Should the minimum class size of 6 participants not be achieved, Chinese Original Limited reserves the right to cancel the course, shorten it, or postpone it.

 

10. Minors

 

Minors cannot register online. We will be glad to send you a registration form, which will then be completed by your parent or guardian. Course participants must be at least 16 years old.

 

11. Absence

 

In the case of irregular attendance at the Chinese course, no refund of course fees or extension of the Chinese course is possible.

 

12. Chinese course textbooks and course materials

 

Course books, materials and certificates are not included in the price of the course.

 

13. Photos, films and records

 

Photographs, films and records taken of you during your Chinese course or during group excursions may be used in advertising material for the Chinese Original Limited and may be published on the Internet. Your registration constitutes agreement. If you do not agree to this, you must make this clear before the start of the Chinese course on the registration form under the heading "Special requests".

 

14. Obligation to co-operate / Notification of defects

 

The course participant is obliged, immediately upon noticing anything wrong, to inform the Chinese Original Limited about it and request correction. No claims will be entertained in cases where this duty is not fulfilled.

16. Miscellaneous

 

Alterations and additions to these conditions must be made in writing. Chinese Original Ltd reserves the right to alter the rules, the program, the prices and the General Conditions of Trade without prior notice. Should one point of these Conditions of Trade be or become legally unenforceable, the other conditions shall retain their full force and content. Typographical and translation errors reserved. The applicable place of jurisdiction is England.
